January 1997Lion’s Paw and Panther’s Run clubhouse named one of “America’s 100 Best Golf Shops for 1997” by Golf Shop Operations (GSO) magazine.

February 1998Lion’s Paw and Panther’s Run clubhouse named one of “America’s 100 Best Golf Shops for 1998” by Golf Shop Operations (GSO) magazine.

April 1998Lion’s Paw and Panther’s Run awarded 3 1/2 stars in Golf Digest’s prestigious Places to Play 1998-1999 rankings. Three stars means the course is “very good; tell a friend it’s worth getting off the highway to play” and four stars means the course is “outstanding; plan your next vacation around it.”

February 1999Lion’s Paw and Panther’s Run clubhouse named one of “America’s 100 Best Golf Shops for 1999” by Golf Shop Operations (GSO) magazine for the third consecutive year.

February 2000Lion’s Paw and Panther’s Run clubhouse named one of “America’s 100 Best Golf Shops for 2000” by Golf Shop Operations (GSO) magazine for the fourth consecutive year.

March 2003Tiger’s Eye Golf Links was named “Most Scenic Golf Course” in coastal North Carolina by North Carolina magazine. It also ranked Tiger’s Eye as the third most scenic course in the entire state.

April 2003Ocean Ridge Plantation’s three “Big Cat” golf courses received a roar of applause from one of the leading surveyors of American travel, ZagatSurvey®. ZagatSurvey teamed up with ESPN to produce “2003: America’s Top Golf Courses”, now available in bookstores.

May 2003Tiger’s Eye Golf Links has been named one of “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses 2003 – 2004” by Golf Digest magazine.

May 2003 — Golf Digest’s “Best in State” rankings list Tiger’s Eye 14th best course in the entire state of North Carolina.

January 2004Tiger’s Eye was named “Best Overall Golf Course” by readers of Myrtle Beach Golf Magazine in the 2003 annual “Beach’s Best in Golf” poll, as well as “Most Picturesque Course.” Tiger’s Eye Par 3, hole #2 was recognized as the “Best Par 3”. Ocean Ridge also received honors for “Best Course For Women”—Panther’s Run; “Best Course for Seniors” —Panther’s Run; “Best Golf Course Restaurant”  — Tamer’s; and “Best Instructors” —  Ocean Ridge Golf Academy.

March 2004North Carolina magazine named Tiger’s Eye hole #9 one the best par 4s in the North Carolina coastal region. Tiger’s Eye was also ranked 21st on the magazine’s “Mighty 90.”

Oct. 2008- Ocean Ridge Plantation ranked #28 among the “Top 50 Public Golf Facilities in America” in Golf World Magazine’s  2009 Readers’ Choice Awards.

November 2008 – Leopard’s Chase was selected to host an episode of the Golf Channel’s “Road Trip: Myrtle Beach”. A celebrity foursome consisting of ESPN golf analyst and former PGA Tour player Charlie Rymer, Hootie and the Blowfish guitarist Mark Bryan, singer/songwriter Josh Kelley and LPGA Futures Tour player Perry Swenson played a match that was televised in heavy rotation on the Golf Channel throughout the winter of 2008-2009.

April 2009Tiger’s Eye and Leopard’s Chase both ranked in the top 35 of Business North Carolina Magazine’s “Top 100 Golf Courses in North Carolina”, which includes both public and private courses.

April 2009Ocean Ridge Plantation was chosen Best of Brunswick Reader’s Choice Award – First Place-Best Golf Facility.

May 2009Leopard’s Chase Golf Club ranked #4 in North Carolina among GolfWeek’s “Best Courses You Can Play – 2009”.

Sept. 2009 – Leopard’s Chase and Tiger’s Eye were both ranked in the Top 10 among GOLF Magazine’s “Top Courses You Can Play-State by State”.  Leopard’s Chase was ranked 8th and Tiger’s Eye was 9th.

March 2010 – Leopard’s Chase and Tiger’s Eye ranked in the Top 40 of Business NC Magazine’s “Top 100 Golf Courses in the State” (Public and Private) and were ranked 3rd and 4th among all Coastal Region Courses.

May 2010 – Leopard’s Chase Golf Club ranked #5 in North Carolina among GolfWeeks’sBest Courses You Can Play-2010″.

May 2010 – All four Ocean Ridge Plantation courses ranked among Golf Digest’s “Sixty Favorite of the Myrtle Beach Area” for 2010.  Leopard’s Chase and Tiger’s Eye both ranked in the Top 20!

September 2010 – Both Leopard’s Chase and Tiger’s Eye were once again ranked in the Top 10 among GOLF Magazine’s “Top Public courses State by State for 2010”.  Leopard’s Chase moved from 8th to 7th and Tiger’s Eye was up to 8th from 9th in 2009.

March 2011Leopard’s Chase and Tiger’s Eye were ranked 39th and 41st respectively among Business NC Magazine’s “Top 100 Golf Courses in the State” (Public and Private) and were ranked 3rd and 4th among all Coastal Region Courses.

March 2011 – The par 3 11th hole at Tiger’s Eye Golf Links was listed on the NC Golf Panel’s “Dream 18”, a fantasy layout featuring the best golf holes in the state.

March 2012Leopard’s Chase leapt from #5 to #4 among all public golf courses in NC in the annual rankings by GolfWeek Magazine of “The Best Courses You Can Play, State by State”.
